Innovation
Innovation is a key driver to market success. Based on your initial idea/rough requirements, we can jointly refine the product vision and definition. Rely on the know-how of our hardware and software experts to conceive a successful solution. Engagement of our marketing and sales team is also an option. Backed up with more than ten years of experience, we turn your vision into a product with a successful route to market.

Concept and design
The next step in product development is to work out the concept of the product. In cooperation with you, our team defines all aspects of the product (features, software, hardware, mechanics). This often involves refinement of the requirements as well, resulting in a full product specification.
The team selects the key product components (e.g. software platform, hardware platform, resources, housing material). Based on the selected components and make-or-buy decisions, the development process is planned. Another important output of this phase is you getting the necessary inputs to validate your business case.
There might be open questions and risks that cannot be immediately addressed. Experiments and de-risking are carried out in this phase. When needed, we engage additional domain experts to resolve open questions beyond our expertise.

Prototype development
Development of the prototype is guided by an execution plan. A dedicated team consisting of required profiles (software engineers, hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, QA engineers, project/product managers) proactively works on reaching a quality product that meets the specification. The result is a near-finished product that can be a subject of functional testing, validation of assumptions, and risks. We organize development of the prototypes required in further testings.
The last step in this phase is thorough testing of the manufactured prototypes, pre-certification, and field tests. The outputs thereof are the inputs for industrialization.

Industrialization
The goal of industrialization is to improve and prepare the product for manufacturing. The product is optimized in terms of costs, performance, and sometimes adapted to the selected EMS capabilities. Finally, the product design is frozen and handed over to EMS for manufacturing. The EMS gets our full support in setting up the manufacturing process.
The first manufactured samples are taken to a certification laboratory. Capitalizing on our longstanding cooperation with a reliable certification lab in our vicinity, our experts actively participate in the process as developers of the necessary software and set up for the certification.
In this phase we also specify the packaging, content of the package, user manual. Our design team can assist in dealing with the visuals.

Small scale production
We can act as a bridge between you and the EMS. In case of production in small series (10k annually), we can engage a local EMS offering flexibility, good quality, and good lead times. This relieves you from dealing with multiple suppliers and reduces the risks. Â There is a possibility to produce smaller batches of the product when needed, or even use storage capacity at the EMS.
